Astronaut to answer students' questions from space

This week, NASA astronaut Sandra Magnus, a graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo., is scheduled to launch into orbit aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour for a four-month stay aboard the International Space Station. During her stay, she will be contributing to a Missouri S&T blog called spacebook (http://spacebook.mst.edu) aimed at getting more kids interested in science.

We at Missouri S&T appreciate the importance of promoting an understanding of science and technology at the elementary and middle school levels, and we hope your school will join us in helping teach your students more about the wonders of science.

Please encourage your teachers to use the spacebook blog as a teaching tool. In addition to entertaining blog posts from Sandra, the site will include links to other educational resources from NASA and other related websites.
