Atkins University of Missouri Wellness Program to bring a wellness program to our benefit eligible faculty and staff.  HRS enthusiastically announces a pilot program that will kick off our FIT CAMPUS initiative. This pilot program will allow you to earn a little cash while getting or staying healthy. Just follow five (5) simple steps listed below and you will receive a $150 cash incentive at the end of the 12-month program.

FIVE STEPS
1. Take the on-line health assessment
2. See your health care provider for a check-up once during the 12-month period
3. Know your numbers (blood pressure, lipid profile, body mass index, blood sugar).
YOU CAN OBTAIN THIS INFORMATION AT THE CAMPUS WELLNESS FAIR AND OTHER CAMPUS SCREENINGS FREE OF CHARGE.
4. Be a non-smoker or non-tobacco user for at least 6 months or complete a tobacco cessation program
5. Complete at least two Healthy for Life sponsored programs (see list of programs at http://www.umsystem.edu/ums/curators/wellness/) during the 12-month period or track and report your number of steps with a pedometer for at least 3 months during the 12-month period. The campus HRS office will provide opportunities for faculty and staff to increase the numbers of steps and physical activities during the 12-month period.

The HRS office will provide more information in August. Kristen Sanders, HR Specialist/Wellness Ambassador in Human Resource Services, sanderskb@mst.edu  will be the contact for this project.
